Skate Away USA has been family owned and operated in Greenwood since 1974. Generations of local families have learned to skate here, celebrated birthdays here, met friends here—and later brought their own children back to do the same.
Our mission is simple: give families a safe, welcoming place to be active, connect with one another, celebrate milestones and make real memories. We believe family entertainment should be fun without losing sight of the things that matter—clean music, clear rules, attentive staff and an atmosphere parents can feel good about.
Being part of Greenwood also means giving back. Over the years, Skate Away has supported schools and community organizations through fundraisers, group events and thousands of complimentary admission passes. We want to be more than somewhere to spend an afternoon; we want to be a place that makes our community a little stronger.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted, except birthday cake or cupcakes with a scheduled birthday party.
What if my child has never skated?
That is exactly what our SkateMate® trainers are for. They help new skaters build confidence while they learn.
Can I bring a bag inside?
After 5:00 PM, Skate Away follows a clear-bag policy. Regular bags, including skate bags, are not permitted after 5:00 PM.
